i purchased my second 7 in october. its an 88' n/a, but otherwise fully loaded. it ran fine the two weeks i had'er on the road till this one night i'm running her hard and i blow a coolant line. parked it the second my buzzer came on, which happened to be in my driveway. i went to the local shop, got some new line, and replaced it. it ran from the rear of the intake manifold down to the top of the clutch housing. filled her, bled off the air, and ran her. buzzer stops, but i'm now getting an odd pulsation on idle.

the car will start fine, but at idle it pulsates up from around 1400rpm to 1600-1800rpm at regular intervals. sometimes it will do the pulsating for about 5-10 minutes, then purr away like a kitten. more often she'll rev funny as long as she's running.

i'm thinking i might have a sensor issue, but i'm not quite sure where to start on diagnosing it. any suggestions you might have would be great.

The first things to check for any pulsing idle problem like you have, is the TPS adjustment. Then check for a problem with the BAC valve...stuck or not functioning. Then re-set your idle speed with initial set connector shorted/grounded to 700-900 at idle fully warmed engine. This procedure will cure most pulsing idle problems.
