odd coolant leak from trans
since i have got my motor running i have noticed that every 280ish km the coolant buzzer goes on, but during all those hard 1000kms driven on it, it has never budged above 1/8th on the temp gauge.
I thought at first it was my overflow cuz there is a crack in it, and i thought the coolant would leak out the tank eventually turning on the buzzer.
but today i found out that if i rev it over 3000rpm it starts to drip coolant from the trans. right between where the bell housing meets the trans on the drivers side.
I have checked my drivers side heater hose and there is a very slight leak, at 3000rpm it doesn't leak as much like from the trans when i rev.
I also wiped my hand across the trans hump and it was pretty humid/wet.
i have ruled out that my leak is NOT from:
heater hoses
TB coolant line to the block
Tension bolt seals (if it was from there then it would leak out from the bottom of the bell housing, plus that would be a disaster  )
BTW i did use new tension bolt seals and torqued all bolts in the proper order down to 30ft-lbs
Is it possible that my heater can leak down from the tranny hump down to the tranny, and then showing up leaking from where the bell housing meets the trans?
Note that it only leaks when you rev it over 3000, and the higher you rev it the more coolant it drips
But once the revs drop the leak stops also
so it is a pressure related leak
so any ideas guys?
im stumped
thanks

coolant doesn't go into the trans.
so where would coolant come from in that area? i would say replace everything and anything relating to a coolant hose. don't complain, just do it. it will solve current and future problems.

take the rubber check plug out of the bottom of the trans and see how much is really coming out.
It could be a bad freeze plug, also, if you did not go over the tension bolts a second time, and only torqued each bolt down once in sequence, the #1 bolt will end up having less tension on it in my experience, this may cause leaks from certain tension bolts.

+1^.....wen i was doing my gf's clutch on her 86 se....1 freeze plug had a pinhole in it...the others were on their way out....might want to chek those freeze plugs...she had the same problem with the untraceable, magically dissappearing coolant.....
It is probably the heater hose or the lower hose from the TB to the rear plate. Sounds like it is just a small leak since it only leaks under higher pressure. I know you said you ruled out both of these but keep in mind a small hole that is not easily visible can leake a lot once pressureized.
As well, take a piece of sand paper and clean up all the nipples on the block. Over time crap gets built up on them and can prevent a good seal.
