Talking O2 Sensor and Mystery Transmission Wire

Yes, this is another, "where does this wire go?" thread.

Firstly, where does the O2 sensor wire go? I have it plugged into the red wire with the flat "quick-disconnect" style end, where does it go from there?

I also have a single wire coming from the top of the transmission bellhousing (88 NA). What does this plug into? I had them plugged into each other but the car was idling very poorly. I assume this isn't right. If it is I need to check for vacuum leaks.

Where do these wires go?

Cheers,
Cody

I'm guessing the transmission wire is a ground wire. I have grounded it to the firewall. Now I just need someone to tell me / show me a picture of where the o2 sensor wire goes. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Cody

Someone, PLEASE. Yes, I'm bumping, no, I don't care.

I have no idea where this wire goes. I have searched, looked in the FSM and my Haynes manual, I can't find the connector for the other end of the o2 sensor. If you know where it is, PLEASE tell me.

*yeah I'm cranky.*

Cheers,
Cody

FFS you're impatient. I'm surprised I'm even trying to help you.

On my 86, the O2 sensor plug comes out of the harness under the UIM. It's a single spade green connector.

Btw, Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins.

Look on the back of the UIM, passenger side. You should see a green connector somewhere back there. It's kinda hard to see.

I appreciate the help.

I've had my car torn apart for weeks doing this clutch change, so yeah, I'm impatient because I'm ready to drive her again!!

Cheers,
