O2 Sensor connection (and a few minor questions as well)

Ok so i was examining my engine bay to sorta plan out my project of removing my emissions controls (air pump, acv, etc) as well as remove my a/c and install my new exhaust....i was looking at the ABS system and realizing how big it is and how much it is in the way when i happened to notice a green plug which was laying across the abs unit...following it down i see its the O2 sensor plug but i cant seem to find out the other end where it plugs into.....after searching on here i found one good thread but didnt seem to help cuz the picture was an 89 N/A so hard to compare where the plug was however i did find a cut wire next to another plug (which connects to the BAC i think)...is this cut wire the wire for the O2 sensor???? see the attached pics.....

while searching for the plug, i did happen to notice something else.....it apeared the arm that connects to my oil metering pump lost its cotter pin and poppped out....im pretty sure this is not a good thing and popped it back in (still need to get a cotter pin for it) but how much damage could this have caused???? im unsure of how long it had been off of there since i just bought the car...

also i noticed a bracket bolted on top of the UIM that doesnt seem to do anything....just wondering what it was originally for.....

see attached pics for all of the above

thanks....its dark outside now but i think that pic helps a lot

as far as driving the car with the OMP arm disconnected i drove about 150 miles from VT to NY and that was really about it other than moving it a few times in teh drive way........unsure if it was disconneted before i even bought the car or if it happened on the way or what.......

glad i could help. it IS kind of a crappy pic but considering its like 5 years old i am lucky i could even find it.

as far as your oil pump connecting rod goes, I (and i'm certainly no expert) would think that if you connected the rod back where it belongs and the car is running ok now that you are probably gonna be ok. If it were going to have been damaged i would expect it to have shown itself by now. with proper oiling restored it shouldnt be getting any worse, right?

thats exactly what i figured.....if the rod being disconnected were to cause damage then the car wouldnt be running.......and since its connected things should be good.....and im hoping that reconnecting the o2 sensor will help with the car runnign real rich problem
