o2 sensor

I did my exhast today and I forgot about the O2 sensor
and pulled on the old downpipe hard,
the o2 sensor ripped right out, now I dont know where it came from under the hood, the connector came down with it

I installed the exhaust on and the car runs fine, however I would still like to put it back in since it came with it

anyone knows where it goes???????

3" stainless steel from the front to the y-pipe and 2.5"y-pipe towards magnaflow mufflers and highflow cat

the cars rides and sounds just plain perfect

On my 87, the sensor wire for the 02 Sensor comes from the harness that plugs into the bottom of the Air Bypass Valve.

Brute force is bad.

the O2 sensor goes on the DP right out of the back of the turbo. as far as not running one the only thing that happense is bad gas milage, as for where the the wire plugs in it goes in the wire harness. i might have a pic but ill have to look

The O2 sensor is the only wire on the passenger side that is shielded. Look for a gray jacketed wire about 3/16" around. Should have a braided metal liner under the gray jacket and a thin wire inside. Just put a new connector on the end of the thin wire and leave the braided shield ungrounded (at the O2 end). It should come out of the harness somewhere around where the boost and variable resistor wires come out.

Good luck with that.
