Nuts, bolts, and hardware

Hey all! I've searched around the forum, and came across this thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-gen-arch...-bolts-367392/

However it doesn't list the bolt length, and pitch of the hardware I needed. Would anyone happen to know the size of the nuts and bolts that mate the UIM to LIM and LIM to block? Mine were lost by the previous owner.

All the intake manifold hardware is 8mm x 1.25.
I replace all my bolts with studs but you can do either, the length you must determine.
Additionally, be careful where you get your metric hardware...our cars use JIS spec, which means an 8mm bolt will have a 12mm head. Euro-spec stuff will have a 13mm head..

This is one of those minor things that really irritates me! Usually it happens when I can't move easily and the socket set is just out of reach.

McMaster Carr is good but if you live in a relatively large city, there's probably a metric supply company local.

I go to Fastenal when they're open, Menard's when its late.

McMaster is awesome but you have to know EXACTLY what you need and how long you need it. I like to play with the nuts and bolts before purchase and see if they'll work or not, at leas in my mind...

That makes three of us (and counting). And get the yellow zinc plated hardware if you're OCD lol.

Just an FYI, all alloy socket head cap screws (the ones that take an allen wrench) are grade 8. If you're ever in need right now (we've all been there) and the store you're at doesn't have the ones you need in grade 8 hex head. they are an alternative. Look for black oxide alloy socket head cap screws, especially a good brand like Holochrome. Just make sure you can get to it in the car with an allen key.

This has saved the day for me many times.

I edited to say "Not cheap chinese furniture screws or any of unknown origin".
