Nre battery, used/new alt

my 86 gxl volt drop to around 10 when stopping or slowing down. the brake really messes the volts up.

i have 2 volt guages and they both are dropping singificantly. i have a 1.65 farad cap with my amp setup AND 2 L7S AND CANT EVEN BUMP THEM WITHOUT DROPPING TO AROUND 6 VOLTS.

i just replaced the battery and have 2 alternators both tested good so i cant seem to find this power leak.
the stereo turns off when the music is too loud. the volts do happen to restore to about 13 when on throttle. any help?

Sounds like you have a 100 Amp FD alternator retrofit in your near future. Just make sure you get a small diameter dual pulley for it like the one Japan2LA sells. If it's too big the alternator won't spool fast enough at idle and you'll have this problem all over again.
