Now it revs, now it dont, now it revs...
I go to drive my car home on break yesterday. As I was makin a left turn it sputters. I was like hmmm wtf? But it immediatly popped back to life and took off like nothing happened. I get home and park it and me and the wife take her car to get food. I get in the car later to go back to work and I crank it up (idles fine) I go to take off down the drive way and the damn thing WOULD NOT rev past 1500. So now I'm really like wtf. I park it and out of curiousity I turn it back on. Revs and idles fine. So I said forget this and left it sitting. What would cause such a thing? It was suggested to me that the fuel pump may be tryin to go out. But I dunno. I just want to fix the problem and I have no idea where to begin lookin. PLEASE help.

maybe the intake fuel filter is really clogged. My car would do that when i had a bad alternator but the battery still had some charge in it. I would floor it and nothin and then I would let off and ease it in and it would go. check all the fuel related stuff.

Well its got a literally only 1 week old fuel filter. So Im sure thats not it. I'm wondering if maybe theres junk in the tank cloggin the pump strainer. Hmmm.

Intermittent problems are almost always electrical. Look for a bad connection or a failing electrical component. Also, use WTF for your favorite saying, it is easier to type and it won't get your posts edited or thrown out!

Sorry, I fixed my post. I'm thinkin since I want to upgrade the pump. I should just go ahead and put in the walbro 255, new strainer, and rewire the pump. That should solve the problem one way or the other. What do you guys think?
