Exclamation Nothing electrical works.....

Ok I stoped to pick up my mail and when I go to start up the car I get nothing no lights no clock no buzzer no volts on the volt guage.

I have no blown fuses inside or out. What else could cause it?

try cleaning the battery terminals. my FC did that to me at the grocery store. they didn't look dirty, but i guess they were worse than they looked.

if your alternator went out you should've noticed all the idiot lights come on as the volts dropped below normal.

no I got no warning lights lighting up. I just turned off the car and then came back and nothing. i just went overthere to clean the terminals and nothing. I cleaned them with a spray that is used for that and the little tool with the wire brush and all that. Nothing. I checked the fuses again and the connections to the alternator.

Damn I am gonna have to tow it home. :-/

Check to see if you have headlights and the ignition key reminder buzzer works when you put the key in the ignition, but in the 'off' position. If you have those two things, or just headlights, then check the single wire black connector below the fuse block and next to the battery. It may be corroded or burned or disconnected.

nothing works. In a while I am going to go back and check to see if I have a bad ignition switch.

No lights inside or out. No buzzer no beep. Nothing. No click from the starter.

This has happened to me once at a friends house. I just pulled into the driveway and everything shut off and nothing would turn on no dome no lights no idiot lights. Go get my friend to jump me and i came back and everything worked like magic. I dunno if this will help and i havnt found the problem but hopefully everything will come back like they did to mine.

happened to me the other day. Well, actually my wife. She parked at the day care, when in and got the kid, came out and nothing. I put a new battery in and it started right up. Weird that the power can drain that fast, but I put a volt meter to the old battery and sure as **** it was dead.

Ok the main relay is the one close to one of the coils correct?

The terminals were ok and I tried a new battery also. The fuses are ok like I said before.
