notchy shifts, grinding gears...

ok, ive been having problems with my drivetrain lately. i had a leak in the clutch hydraulics, but i got it taken care of with a new slave and master cylinder, but now the problem has returned. before, i could drive for about 30 mins, and then the shifts got notchy and i couldnt engage gears. now, its smooth as silk, but it sporatically does it. like ill be driving, and boom, i cant get in 3rd, or say 5th. ill have to slow down and drop a gear or two, then i can start up shifting again. before, it was predictable, and when it started, it didnt go away. now it just comes on and off. i konw its not the hydraulics. my 1st thought was that the system was leaking so the clutch wasnt completely disengaging. well, ive got that fixed, but it does it from time to time now. what gives? maybe bad pressure plate, or perhaps a bad throw out bearing? i plan on replacing the throw out bearing tomorrow (a major pain in the ***!) and perhaps thats what will fix it. is there anything else it could be? or can anyone give me a solid answer to wahts going wrong?

Sounds like the bearing. If it was all the time, I would say bad synchros, but the off and on of it makes me think bearing. PP and Clutch dish should be fine though.

BTW...I've been meaning to say, Saves The Day is the ****!!! Glad to see someone else enjoys quality music around here!!
