Not your typical TID post!

I am in the procees of doing the TID mod and have a technical question. The 3 tubes that vent into the TID are all pointed "upstream" or towards the air filter. I am planning to plumb them into the new TID but wonder If it makes any difference if they are just fitted straight into the duct.

Anyone??

Three in 89+? I recall my 87 had two-the bypass or "bov"-recirculated to keep it quiet and a line from the evavoporitive emmisions to use the accumulated fumes from the charcoal cannister. Whats the 3rd in 89+? From the wastegate solenoid?
