hey .. i was just wonderig all i have taken out so far is the A/C i live in florida and we have no ghey emmisions tests or whatever but i was wondering should i go for it and take the rat's nest, the EGR valve, the air pump and all that stuff?? Im replacing all the hoses.. so right off the bat it will give me like a 50% off since i will only have to spend money on 8 or so silicone vacumm lines instead of like 25 or whatever. I know u can only get rid of emissions after u have gut the KITTY .. so i don't know? what do u gusy recomend?

Im getting my engine ported mildy like a bit less than a street port and also my lower intake manifold.. i will not see any advantage if i keep my stock exhaust.. what do u guys reccomend? what are some drawbacks besides that it smells like pooh with no emmisions?
All i have to spen don teh exhaust if evryone seems to say go for it.. is 100 bucks just enough for a pipe or whatever so it doesn't sound like a weed cutter

I love the way a rotary smells with semi open exhaust and no emissions.

It's a beautiful thing man, especially when you open your hood and all you see is an engine and a few vac hoses. It really does clear up a whole lot!

.... the HOT chicks and stuff.. I don't want them to say lets not go to hans's car cuz it smells like armpits or something and be known as smelly in college not a good thing especially being a freshamn on campus. And I don't want to put the RX-7's image down as a stinky car.. in a scale 1-10 10 being the nastiest smell ever what would rate the smell?

 

i say go for it there is nothing better than the strong smell of exhaust gasses.

man espically an RX-7 stand behind the car and that smell can knock you off you feet.

i dont mind it, if you do mind the smell dont do it.

Just do it and be done with the damned thing. You are NOT going to pass emmissions anyways unless your lucky and are able to tune the damned car really good.

Im gonna have to agree with rx7guy and say GUT THAT ****!, i still have my emissions due to the fact i have to pass mechanical inspection for insurance, but other than that there is nothing better than the sound and smell of your engine inside the car

 

i want to take mine out.. but i have to take the damn test.... has anyone ever moved the airpump? i want to do the tid mod and well... there is a airpump in the way.

im thinking of taking it off all year till inspection day, then doin the swap.

Is it gonna be close or do these s4 tII's pass ok?
