not starting

my new white 1987 RX7 i put in a new battery and when i start it it will turn over but it will just sit there and not fire up the gas gauge say it has gas i dont know whats up dose any know what can be wrong

Its more than likely flooded. Search for "flooding" and youll find several different fixes.

I always keep a spare set of plugs with me now, I learnt the hard way how to unflood a car after having it towed 3 times......

If only I'd found rotary forums earlier!
