I re-read your last post. So I guess you did try it just with the key to ON. So you got no clicking of the injectors and no spark from the plug wires. But check to see if you still have battery voltage at the smalll white plug at the LEAD coil assy. Black meter lead to a known ground and the positive lead on the black/yellow wire. Battery voltage should still be there. If not, write back.

At the boost sensors plug. You said you had jumping voltage at the brown/white wire. Did you have approx 12dc at the black/white wire???????????

There's no sense in turning the engine over when doing any of the above. All that does is run the battery down and pull the battery output voltage down. Just the key to ON.

I think he turned the cas while it was still attached to the front cover... Thats why he didnt hear any cliking. The way he wrote it sounds like he just turned it.

Ok. Cris, remove the cas. It's just a 10mm socket size nut/bolt that cinches the cas in the engine. REmove the cas fully. Hold the cas in your hand.

But then reconnect its electrical plug. THEN do the test where the key is to ON and the plug wires are laying on or near the left strut tower. When you turn the cas lower gear fairly fast, there should be a large spark from the spark plug wires and you should be able to hear the injectors clicking.

About the voltage jumping around when you were checking the brown/white wire in the boost sensors electrical plug...........it's possible that your negative lead on the meter was not on a good ground. Maybe use the bracket that holds the boost sensor to the chassis. That is usually a good enough ground point.

I'm writing a lot of things because I've places to go later.

Talking update

ok i just took the smallest plug off the ecu and tested it with my 12v bug light thing and i have no power geting to anything in there and yes the key has bin on the hole time with the battery pluged in BUT when i have the key on and than connect the battery i can hear the main relay clicking and thats a + i guss. but i have no power to the ecu or anything and i tryed to do the cas thing with the key on and nothing still but i think it has to do with not geting any power to the ecu i wonder why im not geting any power there?

Well, on the smallest ECU plug at least five wires should have had 12v.

If you have 12v at the coils black/yellow wire, then it's a bigger mystery, because that voltage at the coil comes from the same line as the voltage to the injectors/ECU.

There'd have to be a plug off somewhere. I only see one connector b/t the coils assy and the ECU. It's a plug in the area around the ECU. Probably way above the ECU and to the far right forward area. It's a 13 socket plug. Should have a male/female connector. If it came apart that would account for no 12v at the small plug on the ECU. Remember, we're looking at the wires in the PLUG, not the ECU.

I really don't have much truck with bug lights though. But if that's what you have, that's what you have.

I copied the attached jpg off another thread. You'll see where he drew a red line from the MAIN RELAY to the fuel injectors and from them to the small plug on the ECU. See how the letters on that jpg match the ones I wrote down in the thread above.

Also he drew the red line and it covers up where that same red line goes to the coils in the left side of the picture. If you have 12v at the coils you should have it at the ECU. Unless a plug is disconnected in the area above the passengers feet.

JPG: http://www.cochran-racing.com/wiring.jpg

Here's a copy out of the fsm showing the right side of that diagram where the B/Y wire goes to the injectors. JPG: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=80793

Here is the left half of that pictue out of the fsm. Just follow the B/Y wire from the MAIN Relay to the coils and the fuel injectors. HERE: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=93805

After you stare at it for a minute or so you'll see that if you have 12v on the coils B/Y wire you should have 12v at all four injector wires at the ECU PLUG. Small plug.

This is a crummy deal. It's sort of like if I just had that car for approx thirty minutes I could tell you what the problem is. Just can't be in two places at once.
