not burning oil.. ??

Hi all !!

First of all, I'm new to rotary engine. I just bought a stock FC S4 base model for drifting. The first thing I do was an oil change.
Now, I have done 1500km (930 miles) with 3 or 4 drifting event and the oil level dont change at all ....

How can I check if my OMP work ?

Also, when I drive, from 2000 to 3500 rpm I have some power hesitation.... The sound of the engine seem to be OK, but the car bounce a little bit like if he miss gaz or something like that.... what do you think about that ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Test procedures for the mop are in the factory service manual. Search 3800 hesitation on the other. Clean and restore all ground points. Check aaroncakes website for that

someone have an explication for my 2000 to 3500 rpm hesitation ? Its not like the 3800 rpm hesitation.... after 3500 rpm its all good.

In WOT i dont have this hesitation... only in mid-throttle.

maybe my sparkplug ??

your Omp would have nothing to do with the your hesitation problem,so you can rule that out.
Also if there was something wrong with the omp delivery system, like a broken line, then you would know it.
The oil level would be down and f it had a leak in the lines then you would see oil on the engine.
Some things to look at would be doing a tune up(plugs, wires, fuel filters,Air filter can be changed as maintenance).Check and Set the Tps.
......also NO bumping your thread. All threads are treated equal.

New observation !! Yesterday, I flooded the engine. I tryed several time to make it run.. crank and crank the engine.... Finally it decided to start. A LOT (I mean.. A LOT) of blue smoke came out for aproximately 2 or 3 minutes. After that, no smoke (and it never smoked again) !!
I thought it was probably the oil accumulated in the engine by the OMP by cranking the engine a lot. Is this a good sign to see if my OMP work?
Thanks !

Verify your OMP is even there, I have seen stories of people buying motors with omp deletes and not realizing they had to premix.

I've had a similar problem, when I bought my 88 n/a fc it was burning its oil as it should, got a oil filter and some oil and a set of plugs, an its never burnt its oil since! Av done about 1500 miles since, after about 5-600 miles a started premixing as it hadn't been using oil, still havnt git to the bottom of it :|
