TII Y pipe end came off with cat?
So I removed the stock presilencer and and cats and as I pull them off the y pipe the "tip" of the y pipe came with it? Its larger where at the end like it just slides back on over a smaller section like when you use clamps. Its all under the heat shield and I can see in there.
Just curious if that is normal. I am installing a downpipe and midpipe. I can always just get a catback but trying to wait so I can save a little and get the RB REV II. I searched some but not really sure what to look for so sorry if this has been covered in the past.
Thanks

its a normal mode of failure. you are right, the part that came off does slide over another pipe, so the fix is actually really easy. you just carefully pop off the heat shields, put it together and reweld.
