Question Not able to shift

The other day I was taking my car up the driveway in first gear, I started going as hard as I could, got the revs up to 7k and then put the clutch in started to shift and I was unable to go into second gear, it just stuck in neutral till the revs got down abit and then I was able to put it in. Any idea what could be causing this, or was it just me not trying hard enough to put it into gear?

Maybe you didnt press the clutch in far enough, maybe the synchros in your tranny are getting weak, or maybe your clutch hydraulic system is getting weak(clutch master or slave, or leaky line). Check your fluid, check for leaks, then replace the clutch MC, then the slave, in that order.
