is this normal under heavy braking?

i've been noticing under heavy braking that my rear end feels like it wants to come loose, and moves around. this is only under heavy braking and in a straight line.

is this normal, all my brakes are stock and i have good pad on each corner?

that could happen from worn DTSS or other bushings in back with a lot of compliance, not to mention under heavy braking, thats just the way cars react when most of the weight transfers forward and sits on the front wheels.

i've had it happen to me a few times, but that was at brake locking pressure and downshifting.

I'd be looking at worn rear shocks/struts

IT'S NORMAL.
Try getting some better tires.

I question why you're doing such heavy braking in the first place?

Maybe he takes it to the track. Maybe he finds a very deserted open area and has fun with his car.

I've got new shocks and new DTSS bushings and my car does that. It's definately the weight transfer. Don't get on the brakes so hard... even sticky tires can be overpowered. Just don't do panic stops.
