I think he is more worried about no coolent passage there.

Don't forget the O ring still needs to go there when re assebled. No leaky that way

yea, that confused me too, but my LIM only had the rear coolant passage too, even tho it had a hole for a front one in the motor.

No worries, but I bet you will take better care of the coolant system than the previous owner did.
