Question normal operating temperature?

um, i wish i had an acurate temperature gauge. but in the car, my needle seems to hover between 3/4 to 4/5 of the way there to Hot. sometimes i can feel heat coming through my ac vents.
is it normal for my needle to even reach that high? where do you guys' needles sit?
thx,
sodara

ok, guess it's time to flush my radiator. hope my water pump is running ok. Um, i might order a new radiator in the next month. Should i get fluidyne or koyo? they both seem pretty competetive...

I think I'd check/replace my thermostat before I jumped up and bought a new radiator. Make sure to use a Mazda OEM thermostat. Flushing the rad isn't a bad idea but check the thermostat as well.
