Normal operating temperature.

What is the normal temp gauge reading? mine seems to be running in the halfway point. Is that normal?

yeah.. that's pretty normal.. the stock guages aren't accurate to begin with, so ppl say they run anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2.. Much over 1/2, and i'd start to worry...

It's not a bad idea to change your oil, flush your coolant, and put a new thermostat in tho...just to be on the safe side.

Oh..I already did that, but I am thinking about changing the thermostat to a 160 degree one.

It is best to stick with the stock thermo sensor.
