I pump my gas for as full as the gas pump will let it go and it stops and all, and when I start up my car, its only at 3/4 a tank. It acts kinda like it gets pressurized and eventually it goes up to full (most the time) but someone told me that I may have water at the bottom of my gas tank and that I should drop it and clean it out. I was wondering if that was necessary.

 

That is definately not normal. Mine goes straight for the F at the top.

 

might just be a bad gauge

 

besides gauge, what else coudl it be? Like, should I be worried? hehe

 

how long does it take to go up? mine takes 30 secs to a min. if your talking like hours / days then you have a problem

 

Even with a new Fuel Level Sensor found at the Fuel Pump, mine goes to the bottom of the top 2 bars.

 

Ok, I feel better now, I think it takes like about 30 seconds. However, after about 15 miles, its back down to 3/4 tank, hehe.
