Noobish Question

Well,I hear y'all goin on about S4s and S5s, and I am wondering, wtf is the diff between as S4 and S5. and what my 89' FC is S4 or S5, I am totally confused here, and now I sound like a total noob

S4 is 86-88
S5 is 89-92
