Hello everyone I need some help.I want to swap a fi 13b into my suzuki samurai, and need some info on the best year car to look for, what to expect to pay,and what to inspect when looking at a perspective car.I plan on buying a whole car and using as much as I can(engine,trans,computer,wiring,etc...).Any help ?????

read the FAQ start with what to look for when buying an RX-7 it will include everything you need. Start with compression and go from there. Remember that if you have the room you can strip the car to its bones and sell everything for a total of about $1000 not including the parts you listed.

id get a dead one for like 300$ and get it rebuilt for under 2grand and part out the car to make half of it back. this way you have a new engine to start out with(less headaches later) all the cars that have flooding/idle/running issues tends to be the high mileage engines.

I found a mazda truck tranny and a removable bell housing. It bolts up to a rotary and is about 4inch shorter than a stock rx7 trans.Does anyone know how this trans will standup behind a rotary?Im thinkin of using this trans because it is shorter and will make my swap easier(I wont have to move my transfer case back).
