noobie here wasup yall!!

well im transfering over from the race bred FWD world into the RWD Rotorary world..... Well i currently own 2 93 honda preludes which i race and love, im a huge autoxer. but i have a chance to purchase 3 90 Rx7. i got lucky this guy is moving to japan and wants them gone...but anyways all 3 have perfect bodies, 1 is all working perfect condition..all 3 or N/A..the other 2 are parts cars, which i think im gonna to buy one of them to rebuild, but question comes to mind out of those 2 parts cars one of them is a 5 lug, and rocks a sun roof, the other 4 lug and nothing....is the 5 lug a better model??? and if anyone else is interested im meeting the guy tonight ill take pics..

I am honestly fond of the sun roof which means that most likely it is a gsl-se which means that it has a 13b instead of a 12a.

Rotorary = Rotary.

Without knowing a lot more about the cars, it is difficult to say whether or not the 5 lug is a better car... However, 5 lug is definitely better than 4 lug.

That said, if you have a chance, pick up all 3 of them... part out what you don't need, and get one really good car.

Welcome to the forum.

The 4 lug is a base and I doubt its a '90 :P. So yes, the 5 lug would be a better model.

Better model? Yes. Better car? How can we possibly know?

Tha 4 lug without the sunroof is something you may want to grab up if you are into racing and then use the other parts car to change it to 5 lug....

apparently... they are rare and are sought after for some form of road racing... something about not having the sunroof for some kind of regulation requirements...

Last time I sold an FC.. i had several guys asking if it had a sunroof or not because they wanted to use it for racing.. there are no road racing tracks around here, so I only know drag racing stuff!!!!!!!

2nd gen section people don't really take kindly to boinger swaps....this section is for rotary tech support. You need to ask in the other engine conversion section....

Power potential in a V8 FC is good.........but it seems like such a waste of a rotary.....I'd rather buy a miata or a fiero and then try to shoe horn a v8 in there...........

A bad *** car is a bad *** car.

If I were getting 3 fc's, one of them would get a V8 for shure.......

If i had 3 fcs, one would have a 13BT, the second would have a 13B-RE, and the third a 20B....

but that's me...

Oh...I'd have a 4th stocker NA as a DD...

This forum is unfortunatly too immature and closed minded to talk about engine swaps, so there is a subforum dedicated entirely to swaps:

I don't mind boinger swaps. I respect the time and effort that is put in to personalizing a car. If that's what you like and want, go for it. Same goes for rotary swaps into other cars...

At formula drift this year, there was that falken FD with an SR20DET in it...
At the same event, there was an S13 with a 13BT swapped in...I respect that ****.

In road racing regulations require sunroof be bolted shut, usually done with a piece of diamond plate.
