noob question what the different long and short block
noob question what the different long and short block
When I'm looking at the for sale forum I sometime see either a short block for sale or a long block. what's the different I would assume that the long block come with more parts but don't know what they are. But been bothering that I don't know 100% Thanks

Short block is like just the Bare engine(Keg),No alternator,manifolds,injectors,turbo(if applicable),throttle body,wiring.Etc.
The long block is more or less a Compete engine,or Most of it,give or take a couple of components.
