ok so like when the car was off, my lights would flip up ******* slow so i thought that the battery was bad due to alternator faliure cuz i juss bought a new battery.

HOWEVER, when i jump started my car, all the electricals worked fine after like couple minutes.

so this is my question, it wasnt my alternator right? it was juss that my battery didnt get charged enough right? thx

Assuming you mean that the engine was not running when you flipped up the lights, it sounds like a weak battery alright. Did you have the new battery charged before it was installed? Usually they are charged when shipped, but if it sat on the shelf for a long time, it may have discharged. Try charging the it with a trickle charger overnight.
