Is A Non Turbo Rx7 Still Fast?
#52
I have owned an na and a TII, and I must say the TII is much more fun to drive. If you have never felt the rush of having a car with boost then reconsider everything you thought about NAs being fast.

PP, B-port, whatever... I challenge ANYONE to show me a 13 sec timeslip from a N/A WITH NO NITROUS! I will publicly apologize should that blessed event ever occur.

first of all, if your dad knows of everything that you do, then it really sucks to be you and you should buy a civic so you dont go too fast for him. second if you get an n/a with a ported maf, full exhaust (included replacing all those cats) and keep the fluids fresh and the engine tuned you will have no problem taking most cars you see on the streets(with some exceptions such as SS's and that type of ****). and third if you are in the ice and snow get a beater to drive because just my california rain kills almost all drivability of my 7, and im rollin on some good *** tires.

NA's are easier to control then turbo's, especially if you have a lead foot. If your going around a turn in a turbo, hit the throttle, and have too much power, you'll end up just ripping traction out from under the tires and be sliding...which to all inexperienced drivers is not something they're trying to do. Get the NA first and learn how the car works...theres a hell of a lot more of those out there than Turbos

Ask Car and Driver what the true tenth anniversary edition should have been! I suggest you read that article.
