non turbo engine

non turbo engine

hey guys.. im gonna buy a rx7 non turbo cause i cant afford the turbo one, is the none turbo engine good to mod with aftermarket turbo an all that , or should i just keep saving.....

Isn't the compression on the t2 rotors different? It might cost you more if you buy the non turbo engine, install it, then add a turbo compared to just buying a turbo engine. Im not too sure. Good luck!

The compression on the NAs is higher and they have auxiliary intake ports.

This question gets asked like all the time so i would suggest a search.

Basically if you want turbo you might as well keep saving for a turbo 2, it will be easier,cheaper, and more reliable in the long run.

this and more is covered in the FAQ, good place to start and welcome to the forums

but, imo the na is better because they last longer than the Turbo, but the TIIs are more performance oriented and just outright out perform the NAs... on the straits that is... lol
GXLs are nice btw

There are no turbo kits available for the NA RX-7. If you want to turbocharge the engine, you will have to fab the system yourself. This is well covered in the FAQ.

If you want a turbo car, then keep saving for a nice TII.
