I really dont consider ANY bodykit on an RX7 to be rice at all. Mainly because most of the kits are true japanese design and manufacture, and the RX7 is a true, racing bred, japanese performance car.

If you want just a basic wide body kit without changing the looks of the car drastically try www.tripointengineering.com and check out the blue and white car. Another site with a cheaper version is http://www.importfan.com/subcatmfgpr...&1=365&2=1143. The quality of this kit was questioned by some people on the forum. I'm sure its thin but an average body shop can reinforce it as they install it.

I don't really see body kits as being "rice" at all. I mean people spend alot of money to buy them and paint them(hopefully ). Hard to call it rice.

The only cars that have bodykits that I consider NOT to be rice are Supra's, 300Zx's, 240SX's, and the Rx7(i shouldnt even have to say that one on this forum )

Bah

The only way you could be rice is if you care so much about image that you're worried you're a riceboy. Only riceboys care about posing and looking legit, right? Buy whatever you think is nice and forget what anyone else says.

Oddly enough, I bought the complete R-Magic "To Bounds" kit for my RX-7 and they day it went on I was called a rice boy. Go figure.
