non rice body kits
I have been looking around to find a body kit that i like so i can put it on while i am restoring my TII. But i can not find anything decent there is a couple like at http://www.mariahmotorsports.com/
but they are major $$$ i have been searching the net for ages any one know where to get a nice racing style kit for a decent price please let me know cause all the websites i seem to find Don't have 2nd gen kits, or else they don't look all that great... |
here is a pic of the reamemiya kithttp://2ndgenrx7.freeservers.com/cgi...emiya2000a.jpg
those mariah are ugly IMO. I love the amemiya one but I don't think anyone should get it.:D
I really dont consider ANY bodykit on an RX7 to be rice at all. Mainly because most of the kits are true japanese design and manufacture, and the RX7 is a true, racing bred, japanese performance car.

www.body-kits.com Check out the kaminari kit.
This is the TOTAL NON RICE kit I am custom making for my Civic hatch, I am happy with it so far.......
that is the baddest kit ever do they make them for our sevens?
I like rice.

If you want just a basic wide body kit without changing the looks of the car drastically try www.tripointengineering.com and check out the blue and white car. Another site with a cheaper version is http://www.importfan.com/subcatmfgpr...&1=365&2=1143. The quality of this kit was questioned by some people on the forum. I'm sure its thin but an average body shop can reinforce it as they install it.
I like the way the Tri Point car looks...but I couldn't find any info on the kit on the site. Did I miss it or is it not on there?
no you didn't miss it there is no info on it, I was going to call the the co and see if they still offer it.
I don't really see body kits as being "rice" at all. I mean people spend alot of money to buy them and paint them(hopefully ;) ). Hard to call it rice.

don't forget the knightsports one
it looks good imo and it's not THAT pricey like RE ame |
Bah
The only way you could be rice is if you care so much about image that you're worried you're a riceboy. Only riceboys care about posing and looking legit, right? Buy whatever you think is nice and forget what anyone else says.
Oddly enough, I bought the complete R-Magic "To Bounds" kit for my RX-7 and they day it went on I was called a rice boy. Go figure. |
So does anyone know how much that RE kit would cost an average schmoe like me? or where I can even look at em?
RE kit=balla!!!
