non fc lock on fc?

My passenger side lock is broken and I was wondering If I could use a lock from any random junkyard car with a key because I don't mind carrying two keys for two different locks rather than spend over 100 rekeying my car lock.

Do it the right way, get it re-keyed.

No.

Who the hell quoted you $100 to rekey?
The cylinder itself should be like $30 - $40 from the Mazda dealer.
It's going to cost maybe $20 - $30 to rekey from a locksmith.
