Noisey Lil Thing
When I start my 7 up it revs to 3000 and then a loud fan noise comes on and shuts off about 5 seconds later, I dont know if that is normal or not but thats the least of my concerns. The main problem im having right now is that there is a nasty squeaking belt sound coming out of my ACV or somewhere in the fecinity of it. I put a new check valve and gaskets in it but that didnt kill the noise. Does anyone have any ideas or even the same preoblem?
The car was garaged for 14 years and ive changed all the obvious things (belts, spark plugs and wires, etc....).

The fan spin up on cold start is normal.
The fan clutch is a viscous fluid torque converter design.
Centripetal force provides the pumping action to move the fluid from the grip chamber to the reservoir.
It takes a few seconds for this to happen on a cold start.
You may have to re-tighten the belts once or twice as they seat in the pulleys.
