Question Where to get White faced guages, not indiglo

I want to get some white faced gauges for my 88' turbo II. As it's stated, i do not want indiglo just white faced. I've seen the ones from corksport but i don't think i really like the big "CS" on the face of them. Anybody know of anybody else that sells them.

thanks

Are you saying you just want the normal white back light? If so just buy any ol white face indiglo gauges, install em, and just dont connect the power for the indiglo and bam... normal white face gauges =)

I just don't see the 'rice' in them.. Some look okay, but I guess I can agree with you that some of them are kinda ricey.

Any of you with indiglos have problems with the color or the brightness messing with your night vision?

if you had the time and wanted them bad enough you could always make your own or paint the ones you have. make a stencil of the numbers and lines. or hell like the rich people with their watches just leave it blank except a diamond or two and guess how fast your going

I have a set of indiglos I bought on ebay- they are not shiny- they have a diffuser over them which makes them look matte- not ricey at all- they look sharp during the day. Indiglos can't be backlit with the normal fc dash, though, because they are opaque (you can't see light through them) and the bulbs are behind the stock faces and won't shine through the indiglo material.

And no- the color I have is blue/green switchable and you can adjust the brightness with a dimmer that comes with the gauges. The blue is very night vision friendly, and matches my pioneer blue face stereo perfectly.

My indiglo lighting goes out at times... and I can still see because the stock white back lighting from the old gauges still comes through. Is that the light you are talking about?

Yes- and I may stand corrected- but the instructions on my indiglos stated the opposite. I removed my stock bulbs (except the odo and tripmeter backlights) as per instructions, but now I am thinking I shoulda left em in, esp. if you can still see em.

Course I soldered my connections- so no worries about failure

I kinda wanted to take em out and remove the factory light because I think they look a lot better like that. But I guess leaving them in just in case they go out is smarter. To be driving along with a black dash at night isnt too good

if you can get some ones that don't have the indiglo in them could you put red backlighting to make the white red at night. Would'nt mind the indiglos if you could have a red indiglo light rather than the blue or green. I think red would look better as i am going to paint some interior panels red, going with a red and black theme inside the car and under the hood.
