Noise when slowing in gear

When I let off the gas and just ride the gear I have a chirping sound, I thought a belt at first but it's coming from under the car and it only does it if the gear i'm in is low enough to be slowing the car once the gear is done slowing it stops. Oh and with the clutch in it stops... thanks. Oh 86 NA

of its doing it as long as you are engine braking its sounds like it might be a bearing in the tranny.

Yeah I went to a church parking lot and rode 1st down a hill with the door open looking under the car and it's pretty loud. So what am I looking as far as getting it fixed money wise?

Whoa since its a new tranny take it back to where u bought it and tell em to check it out. How long ago was it? Did you install it urself? Its hard to say how serious it is, but I would definetly start by taking it to where you bought it from and let them check it out. Good luck!
