noise from elec fan

i just installed my new black magic flx-150 electric fan. for anyone that has one does it sound rather loud or is my hear just that good..?

p.s. my stereo is still louder so what the heck!!!!!

Hell yes that thing is loud. It scared someone walking across the street while I was at a stoplight. She walked by and it kicked on and she jumped back like "what the hell is that?" =)
