theirs a clunking noise coming from the back of my car. Me and my dad jacked it up and i put it in gear while he looked at the diff and half shafts. its making a clunking noise, like "Clunk Clunk Clunk" its coming from the back for sure. When im driving its only wen i left off the gas, but when i give it some gas it doesnt make the noise anymore. I think its coming from the diff/half shafts on the pass side rear. anyone have this problem before or no wat it is?

 

I have a similar noise, mine happens when i brake. Is it when you brake or just let off the gas? My rear back brake was like smoking and it got really hot after just a normal drive so I'm thinkin that the bearing is hooped or something.

 

Differential mount is broken.
