Nice Job on the ports, Is that your first time porting? As the rotor goes, test fit an oil control ring and see if it fits and works, If it doesn't, let me know I've got one rotor to spare.

You will have to use a small file and sand paper on the rotors to remove the gouges. I think they will prevent the oil control rings from moving up and down in their grooves smoothly.

It looks like you are guessing on the ports. It's good to know your limits. You can mock up the engine with a piece of plexi glass and trace the path of the side seals and corner seal. The template can be flipped and used on the other sideplate. You really shouldn't port past the "leading ss" path. If you do the side seal will be unsupported as it passes over the port and if you don't put a very small bevel on the closing edge of the port the scissor action of the port on the unsupported side seal can prematurely wear the seal and allow blow-by.

What's really important is the shape of the bowl and the path of the runner where it bends towards the opening and closing of the port.

This is hard to put into words but it looks like you need to remove some metal from inside the runner on the opening side. From the pics it looks like the face of the port has the right shape but the inside of the runner needs to be smoothed so the air can make an easy 90 degree turn.

From the pics it looks like the air would have to make more that a 90 turn because you cut the port face to open earlier but didn't remove the bump of metal left in the runner.

In this pic it doesn't look like you touched the inside of the opening side of the runner.

I can still see the cast marks. The dark grainy texture. Everything inside the red circle needs to be smoothed a little so the air (green arrow) can make a nice smooth 90 degree transition.

This is what you should see when you look down the runners:

Stick your index finger through the water jacket and feel the thickness with your thumb. Making a hole is a possibility so be careful.
