Arrow No turn signals working

OK i am getting everything working on my fc so i can start driving her, My turn signals havent blinked since the engine was put in and i assumed it was because the rear bulbs were shot. I replaced the bulbs tonight and still nothing. None of the signals blink and the rears will not light up at all even with the hazard switch on. ANY IDEAS???

the "computer" so to speak, that controls the turn signal, etc can be found on the driver's side, just about where your left leg would be. I think 2 phillips screws hold it in place....remove it, resolder the joints and pop it back in and you should be working again. I am assuming (without making an *** of myself) that you already checked the fuse associated with the problem.

well the hazard light switch sends the signal to the same CPU and uses the same circuit as the Turn signals... so if the Hazard switch works, but the turn signal switch doesn't then the problem is in the turn signal switch.

But if neither the Hazard or turn switches work, then it is probably the CPU.

So do you now see why I was asking??? do you think I would waste time asking a question if it was not pertinent to the problem?

Not my rules... the administrators changed it 6 months ago, and it is posted in the FAQ for FC sticky thread, the FAQ for the board, and the Read before posting sticky thread.

They wouldnt blow, thats the problem. Fuses are put in a circuit so that at a certain aperage they blow rather than the rest of the circuit being damaged. for example if your headlights cant handlle more than 20 amps you put a 15 amp fuse so it blows before it reaches 20. I put 30's in everything so if the aperage for some odd reason pases what it was before (15, 10) the curcuit can be damaged. get it?
