No TPS connector????

I am in the middle of a six port turbo build, I bought an s4 engine harness to plug into my power fc and I cant find the tps connector. from what I've seen and heard from other people the connector should be with the iat connector. All that is with the iat connector is a two pin connector. I peeled back the tape to try and see if someone has mangled this harness before but as far back as I've gone I haven't been able to find anything. any help is appreciated!! thanks everyone

The only connector on the harness I've found that will connect to the tps is a black connector way farther back on the harness. I'm lead to think this isn't it haha

Pictures would help here. If you were doing a regular four port turbo build I'd say double check to make sure its not a RHD harness, as it routes to the opposite side of the car and is a bit different in some areas, but if you are utilizing an NA harness, it should be there.

edit: N/A cars were made available for export to UK and EU countries, did you order a RHD harness? That could explain why the only connector that would join to it is further back.

The harness im using is an s4 turbo harness... as far as im aware at least. the injector wire lengths are different, and if im not wrong the na cars had similar length injector wires. i will go snap a pic of my harness in just a minute

I've utilized an NA wire harness on a TII engine. Though it was for an S5 -> S5 swap, the lengths were the same. I can't speak for S4's, but I don't see any reason as to why the length would be different between NA to TII. LHD to RHD, however, will be different length wise. You can't use a RHD harness on a LHD car as is.

sorry, from my understanding one of the most noticeable differences between a s4 turbo harness and a s4 na harness was the wire length difference between primary and secondary injector connectors. i was told its very easy to mix up primary and secondary injectors on na cars but not t2. I also made a mistake when saying the three pin connector i found was black, it is indeed white but the wire colors are not the same as on the tps. The first picture is all I have with the IAT. and the second picture is of the connector that I may believe is the tps. The wire colors on the connector are green with red tracer, orange with white tracer, and brown.

I can't speak for certainty with S4 cars. It's also been a few years since I've done that particular job on my S5. I don't remember it being particularly difficult as far as remembering which plugs went to which injectors, but I did map the harnesses out and label them, so that could likely be why I never mixed them up. I would break out the factory service manual and reference the diagram, that would confirm the colors of the TPS connector.

Any reason why it would be in such a strange place though? everything I have seen says it should be right with the iat. maybe the pervious owner had some strange intake or different TB.

How far back on the harness is this plug? I'd honestly first start by checking the FSM and diagram to confirm whether the plug is correct or not, if its that far back and you can't find any evidence of tampering as far as wire length goes, it may be a difference unique to the S4 harness between NA and TII, or like I mentioned, it could be a RHD/LHD harness difference.

Are you 100% sure its a LHD spec harness? I hate to be repetitive, but the lengths on those are pretty drastic, and you will quickly notice once you connect it to the car that it will not route properly.

No I am not sure its a LHD harness. now looking at where the connector is, there is obvious electrical tape surrounding where the wires come out of the harness and around the wires. the connector comes off the harness with the primary injector wires. I had a friend send me a picture of his tps and the wires colors are the same on his car as they are on the connector on my harness. My tps has different color wires and that must have throw me for a loop.

Peel back the electrical tape and rule out any evidence of tampering. Try routing it back into the car, if it doesn't have enough room, it could be a RHD harness.
