no tach signal/hard start after grounding Researched

so i installed some grounds last night, one on the passenger strut tower going to the upper intake manifold, an other sm wire from the leading coil base to the trialing coil base thats bridges to the drivers strut tower with a 4 gauge wire going to the alternator adjustment screw, no i have no tach signal it just bounces as i try to crank it and after a while of craking it will fire up and run just fine, il look at the signal going to the ecu the start to ping 1C and see if thats not the prob to night but any one have any ides?

the car is 85Gs with a 91 TII s5 stock setup

well bobs my uncle! well no. but i cut the grounds from coil to coil, and pulled the ground going to the alternator. and bam tach signal and started up just fine. the only thing i can figure out is that the grounds where making noise and messing up the tach signal to the ecu.

That's very odd. Those grounds should not have caused any issues because they wouldn't be carrying any current. They are superfluous and extra.
