no start, runs rough when started

I have an 89 gtu with 70k and an atkins motor with 15k. the starter and battery went out first. i replaced those and now it won't start. it is really hard to compression start but when it goes it only seems to run on one rotor. it has full compression and plenty of fuel. i have constantly had to pull the plugs and egi fuse and turn it over to unflood it everytime i want to think about starting it. there are no rpms where it evens out at. i tried to rev it in hope that it would even out but it blew the blow by tube off from the oil sending tube. i checked spark and it is good. i replaced the tps and cleaned all the grounds as well as checked for vaccuum hoses. I also replaced the map sensor when i put the engine in. i'm planning on pulling out the fuel injectors to see if one of them is cracked. can anyone help me figure out other things to check.

Have you compression tested it, or pulled plugs to see if it's really running on one rotor? If you get it started, run it for a moment, then shut it off. Now pull both sets of plugs. If one set is wet, you can confirm that there is either little to no compression on that rotor, or it's not getting spark.

i just tested the compression by ear. all three faces of each rotor sounded the same, all the apex seals looked good. all the plugs are wet, both leading and trailing on both

Without any numbers, you can't tell if you're getting 100 psi on each rotor, or 50. Unless a seal is broken or missing, there will still be some compression.
