No start issues.
My TII 10AE has starting issues. I can usually push start the car but it has always had problems starting on its own.
Recently though, I can't even get it to push start after leaving it for alone for a few weeks.
My question is:
When I crank, can I check for spark by pulling off a lead off the coil or a wire off a spark plug on the block?
Does the fuel pump only turn on when cranking, and not when just sitting with the ignition on?
What is the easiet way to check for fuel pressure?
Thanks in advance.

Pull out all plugs, plug a lead into one plug at a time ,ground on top of engine and crank it. You should be able to see spark while you're cranking and standing outside car. Do you have a fuel pressure guage ? Are plugs wet ?

I forgot to mention, the engine is REBUILT with about 5 miles on it. I'll check and see what the plugs are like. I guess if the plugs are wet that would insure that atleast the fuel pump is working.
I don't understand the 2nd post about grouding the plug wire. I think that's the info I need, but I don't understand the instructions.
So, I crank with no plugs in the engine?
I'm still looking for a way to check for spark when cranking.
Thanks so far.
