all right so lets start from the top. i just bought this like a month ago. its a gxl with a tII swap with haltech. it has a blown coolent seal but it leaks out verry slowly. well not dissing the people that installed the haltech but the wiring was kinda shady and wires are evry where and most just electrical taped. well i when i was doing the crank angle sensor i unpluged the sensor so i could sauder the wires. well when i pluged them back in. the car wouldnt start. so then i was like i will get my spark testor out and see if its got spark figuring that if evry thing wasnt pluged in right it would spark. and no spark like i guessed. by this time i all so was like i guess its fludded too so i took out the spark plugs and cleened them and tried it again. this time i asked my friend to jiggle the conector. when we started it up again no spark. so my friend squeezed the conector really tight it ran really really ruogh and i was like i guess its the conector. so i replaced it with a new conector. not a mazda one its one i had at work for an 02 sensor. i matched up the wires and saudered them in. so i tried it after installing the new conector that i made shure had good contunity befor installing it and once again no spark. has any one else ran in to this same probem with the cas. what did you do to corect it. im not getting any spark threw both of the coil packs im assuming if the cas is not working properly that it wont send the singnal for spark. please help me

 

What connector are you talking about? You replaced it with the o2 plug? Thats a one wire plug so......what plug are you talking about on the ignition system that only has one wire?

Do you replace it with a 5 wire o2 plug.

sorry man it took so long to get back i read what you put befor you changed it and your right i did cinda rush threw some stuff and the computer at work dosent have spell check and i live by that so im sorry that evry thing isnt perfect. the conector is the 4 pin conector for crank angle sensor. im prety shure right now that its fludded but i really cant un flud it with out spark can i? i take out the spark plugs evry 3rd or 4th time an cleen the gas off. i also pulled the egi fuze so there will be no gas coming in the housings. i have a spark tester that i have been using to see if im getting any thing. and i still havent been able to get spark from either coil. and im bring in my camra to work on monday so i can take some pics. if i havent figured out the problem but i got to get back to work but i will keep evry one posted.
