My car won't start at all. My fuel pump isn't making any noise and the starter won't click. Batt and alt are fine. I searched too... FAQ doesn't say and searching really came up w/ nothing. Plz help...

Do the headlights work? If they dont, check the battery terminals and battery cables. They are the next heaviest battery drain after the starter. In any case clean the treminals. Take a voltmeter and put the posative lead on the posative battery terminal. Put the negative lead on the other end of the battery cable (starter solinoid). Have someone try to crank the engine. You will be measuring the voltage drop across the cable when it is under load. If you read more than one volt, replace the cable. You can also reverse the leads and check the ground cable in the same way.

MK I tried it and cables are fine... but like I pressed that switch on the clutch that lets electricity flow to the starter and the car hit right up... My question now is how do i fix that. My clutch is pressing the switch deep enough.

there is a thread on here about bypassing that switch, just search it, it is a pretty simple procedure you basically just jumper a wire to bypass the switch.

Try to find the Part from mazda.it is a cheap part..it is a small piece of rubber that inserts into a hole that the switch hits up against on the clutch pedal assembly..By BYpassing that SWitch, you allow the car to be subseptable to start up while IN gear.
