You may wish to search on this, as it has been covered quite a few times.

Your reverse light switch is probably bad or disconnected. If it is abd, often times a relay will solve it at the lower current needed to trigger the relay is less than needed to light the bulbs.

If the bulbs arent blown, it's probably the connector on the transmission. Do a search and you'll find much more in depth material regarding this matter.

The switch is on the left side of the transmission. It's a dual function switch. Reverse lights AND fifth gear switch.

I think you'll find maybe four wires on that switch. The two your interested in are the ones that are Red/Green and Black/Yellow. The Black/Yellow one is the pwr wire. The Red/Green goes to the tail reverse lights.

I believe they will be on seperate bullet connectors.

it wasnt in my FC, but my S12 that I had this problem too. The switch worked, but the transmission for some reason wasnt pushing it. I just fastened a button onto the shift **** with a hose clamp and wired it in place of the sensor in the transmission. So whenever I reversed, I would just hit the button. It also worked great against tail-gaters on the highway :-D

i got the same issue, but i need my reverse lights. Im in NYC and theres mad cops around these parts. Everywhere you turn.

The issue with mines is that the switch on the transmission was broken.

Where can i get it? Then i guess i gotta figure out where to wire it, theres a big load of wires under the car all over the place.
