balbs are still good so what do i check next?

 

There is a wire that comes off the tranny, on the drivers side. Make sure that is hooked up.

 

My reverse lights work sometimes, and other times they don't.

Is there a fuse, or is it most likely a loos connection on the wire mentioned above ^^?

 

There is a fuse, near the drivers floor and there should be a place just for the fuses. yeah there is a wire that is on the drivers side that comes from the tranny where you hook up, so when you put it in reverse the light comes on. So check fuses first, then if thats not the problem then jack the car up and look at the wires around the tranny.

 

hmm, i bet i ripped out the wire, i remember i ran a huge rock over and heard it hit somthin. nice dent in radiator, smacked frame and dented 2nd cat. i bet i took out the wire with it! thanks ill check it out and post results.

 

If you do find the wire disconnected, if you can, take pictures of the wire so I can find it. Thanks!
