Broken door handle

I just broke the door handle in my FC. The operating rod is working fine, its the actual metal clip on the handle itself. I bought some metal epoxy hoping that it will fix the problem. But if not, what should i do next? Go to the salvage yard and get another one? Really is tacky when you cant open the door to your car from the outside. Any suggestions?

Best to go get another from the dealer, unless someone here can get you one cheap.

I think the dealer charged me $45 (it broke the same way).

Junkyard time buddy. Unless you can do some good work on that old broken one, and justify wasting the time on it. Pick up a good one off of the forum or in a junk yard. They normally sell for 25ish each.

The stupid door handle breaks in a very bad spot.
I doubt epoxy will help.

Welding is questionable, since it's crappy pot / cast metal.

A good, used unit from the junkyard it probably your best bet.
