Wouldnt the oil just sit on top of the gasoline in your tank? It wouldn't really be pre *MIX*, more like you run on strait gas and then ur engine is filled with oil. You would need to mix the gas & oil in a bucket or whatever before pouring in the can.
Since gas is made of oil, the 2 mix quite nicely. All you gotta do is pour them both in, and fuel slosh from regular driving will mix it up well. Imagine getting a big *** 44oz drink with no lid and sitting it in a cupholder in your car and going for a drive...**** will spill out cause its flying around everywhere wont it...same with the gas in the tank.

don't want to sound retarded, but what is an s4 or an s5. i have an 86, what series is that?
s4 are 86-8, s5 are 89-91...they can be turbo or nonturbo as well.

Just curious, is it safe to use premix on a freshly rebuilt engine and start it up for the first time with it.

Yes. I have seen rebuilt engine's with no OMP and pre-mix...

...of course, they're T68-1 bridgeported BEASTS!!!

I'm removing my OMP soon.

Just wanted to reask one of the original questions,

am i going to have to drain the oil first? or will spillage be minimal when I take the omp off? I read Ted's write up, and I'm sure I can figure out the Dimes thing, I just want to be ready for making a mess.

Thanks,
