well i no longer have a 7. it caught fire today and is now a loss. the engine is melted. :-( there apparently was a fuel leak and the heat of the engine caught it on fire and it went boom.

oh man, that sucks to hear. At least you're ok. We keep losing members to this stuff (Rico). What do you plan on doing now? Also, were you NA or T2?

That's terrible. =( Folks, I don't care if you think it's rice or not, BUY a fire extinguisher and keep it handy. Because you'll never know when you need one... Sorry to hear about the fire. =(

Until all but the very last one of any particular make and model is left. That very last car, can't be replaced.

Keep the car and put a new engine it.

COMPLAIN TO MAZDA!

MY ******* car did that a few months ago but luckily I caught it before it turned into anthing serious. Sealed up the PD and that was the end of that problem.

(PS - don't tell then you tried the 'airpump mod' )

You miss his arrogant attitude. And BTW, calling a truly arrogant person arrogant is a compliment. Only a conceited person would be insulted if you called him arrogant.

On another note, use the money from parting out this one to buy another 7. Don't abandon us, even for a little while.
